On July 8th, 2021 at approximately 4:10 in the afternoon, Hawthorne Police responded to a shooting call at 14124 S. Chadron Avenue.

Upon their arrival at that location, officers located a 21-year-old male slumped in the front seat of a vehicle parked in the carport to the rear of the building. He appeared to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Rescue responded to the location where the male was pronounced deceased.

Hawthorne Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are conducting their investigation.
